Where did Owl Creek get its name?
It is named for the live creek that runs through my parents’ farm where my journey began. This picture was taken of an owl the day of the jam & honey festival in August of 2025.

Welcome to Owl Creek website! My name is Bernadette Jensen. After moving back to my parents’ farm and ranch in South Dakota in 2015, I created Owl Creek Organics & Natural Products with a desire to sell minimally processed jams made with organic ingredients, raise honeybees, produce honey and have a big garden and sell herbs and vegetables. Since then, my business has evolved into what it is today which is primarily a jam and honey business. After nearly 10 years of working in South Dakota with my family, I met my husband and now live in North Dakota, just an hour from the Minnesota border. Owl Creek Products are produced in both states of the Dakotas.
The products I create are made with only the best natural and organic ingredients available. This ensures premium products that are flavorful, healthy & nutritious!
Owl Creek specializes in flavored whipped honeys, raw honey & jams sweetened with honey. Pictured is Gingerbread Honey before being creamed to perfection!
I would say my passion is jam making. The jams I make are inspired by French recipes & American flavors. They are made with all organic ingredients and are sweetened with honey.
Owl Creek Jams…
Jams are best enjoyed on toast, bagels, English muffins, in crepes or recipes or on ice cream!
Flavored Honeys…
The whipped honeys are whipped to perfection with dried organic ingredients. Best enjoyed in tea or coffee, on bagels or in oatmeal or just plain! They are shelf stable and don’t need to be refrigerated…ever!
Tea with jam and bread….
For me, nothing beats a piece of toast with a good jam in the morning or afternoon accompanied by some coffee or tea. Fast and delicious. A nice energizing snack. -BMJ
Raw Honey
100% raw, from the hive. Unfiltered and unheated. All the enzymes for good digestion and for allergies. Produced in North & South Dakota.
